The Kahilu Theater presents the Waimea Community Chorus’ “Sing in the Season” concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26.

The 50-voice chorus will perform songs of winter and holiday celebrations, starting with familiar titles like “Winter Wonderland of Snow,” “I Love the Winter Weather” and “Sleigh Ride.”

After intermission, the chorus will sing songs that pay tribute to the celebrations of Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and Christmas, so come and kickoff the holiday season with an afternoon of music.

Thirty years ago, Waimea Community Chorus formed and has been under the direction of Barbara Kopra since 2005. From first-time performers to well-seasoned vocalists, this year the Waimea Community Chorus has members ranging in age from 13 to 86 who all share a passion for singing.

The concert is viewable in-person and on-demand. In-person tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children, and can be purchased at kahilu.org. On-demand tickets for this show, which are good for an entire household, are $9.99 and available at Kahilu.TV.
